Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day is one of those holidays that you either love it or you hate it. If you're single, seeing all the mushy, lovey dovey tweets, Instagram pictures & Facebook status' of couple claiming their undying love for one another can just be too much to handle & probably makes you feel a little queasy inside. If you're in a relationship, seeing all of the above can make you feel so warm inside & make you feel so excited about spending the day with your other half & you just have to let everyone you know how much you love each other by plastering it over every social media platform you're on.

Usually I hate this holiday in particular. I've always thought it's super overrated, super expensive & a retailers dream of conning you out of extortionate amount of money. I could never justify paying triple the amount of money for heart shaped chocolates as opposed to the standard rectangular/cubed shapes we buy for the rest of the year. Yes, I was always the Valentine's Scrooge.

Howeverrrrrrr, I'm being a hypocrite this year & I've completely changed my thoughts on V Day as I'm in a fully committed, all loved up & very happy relationship, (enough to make the anti-Valentine's people queasy). I'm the latter of the above & I cannot wait for Valentine's Day. My boyfriend went allll out for my birthday last September & told me he is taking me to Paris! I cried, squealed, and cried a bit more at how exciting and blown away I was.
You can't really get more stereotypical in terms of gifts & traditions. Waking up in one of the most romantic cities in the world, room service breakfast, then taking a romantic stroll along the Seine to the Eiffel Tower, and being surrounded by other loved up couples, is just going to be blissful. (Pictures to follow. Lots of them).

My boyfriend & I have decided to not really do Valentine's Day presents as seen as we are going to be in Paris. But I've found some gifts that would be perfect for your other half that won't break the bank & are still very beautiful.
